This Sunday, Dec. 10, it’s free movie night at ISU’s Bengal Theater, with Sundance Film Festival winner, “Dark Horse: The Incredible True Story of Dream Alliance” showing at 4:30 and 7:00 p.m. Dream Alliance is a working class horse who was trained as a race horse by a group of average folks in a small Welsh town, and who went on to challenge for regional and national titles. All are welcome to attend. For more information and trailer, go to www.pocatellofilmsociety.com/dark.
Between showings of “Dark Horse” the Pocatello Film Society will be hosting a “Trailer Party Potluck” at 6:00 p.m. at the Bengal Theater, where people can watch several trailers of potential films for next semester and help choose which ones will be shown. Bring a dish or dessert to share if you’re attending the potluck. All are welcome to attend either or both events.
